I heard from the Army this morning.... Liberty is in active discussion at the Under Secretary level (there are 3 generals, one of whom is a 3 star & 5 colonels pushing it).

Also... The below e-mail is from a long time supporter of the project. He’s an active duty Air Force Colonel who strongly believes in Liberty’s educational component. Were getting close.

Frank,
I hope your ears have been burning, because you have been the topic of many of my conversations lately. Last weekend I met with Dr. Melvin Johnson and his wife Dr. Marci Johnson, the President of Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, along with Dr. Jewell Winn to discuss the educational component of “For Love of Liberty”.  I was able to show a glimpse of my copy to provide them with a foundation of the work that you accomplished.  They were amazed by the star-studded historical accuracy, and educational depth you present.  They are willing to assist in completing the educational component and Dr. Winn is willing to fly out and meeting with us on Saturday, 24 Jan if we are still on.  Being professional educators, they bring a whole new dimension to developing this venue.  In my current position, I find myself on the road three weeks out of four each month, and I cannot dedicate the time needed to do a thorough job on the project.  So my brother Robert and I were hoping that you could squeeze a little time on Saturday to discuss a way ahead.  Additionally, Dr. Melvin Johnson stated that he sits on the U.S. Presidential Council for Education Consultants and he would be willing to take this project forward to assist in getting it into mainstream  schools across the country, to include the other Historical Black Colleges and Universities.

I believe that this can be a huge step in competing the educational component, plus gaining notoriety for the film, and perhaps securing additional funding. I do not want to take up too much of your time, but we would like to meet and discuss and receive your vector on forging ahead.  Feel free in calling me on any of the numbers below, or you can reach me after duty hours on my personal cell (719) 466-7518.  I look forward in hearing from you soon.

Very Respectfully,
